Chamberlain & Sons is a landscaping company in Meridian, ID that provides landscape design and development. Most of our work consists of installing patios, sod, sprinklers, mulch, and more. All of our work is project-based, meaning we don’t perform weekly lawn care or maintenance. However, we do occasionally provide seasonal yard cleanup.
We are currently expanding our landscaping crews with additional crew leaders and laborers. Those with experience in landscaping or a similar service industry are preferred, as well as anyone who can speak Spanish. All team members should be able to lift 75+ lbs. Landscape Estimator duties:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Landscape Construction Estimator to join our team. This role will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, creating accurate estimates, and ensuring proposals meet client expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate will have landscaping knowledge, strong math skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to review project needs and specifications
- Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and assess project scope
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and labor required
- Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation projects
- Collaborate with the owner and crew to plan timelines and resources
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope, costs, and project details
- Adjust estimates as needed based on client requests or site conditions
Qualifications:
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of plants, materials, irrigation systems, and installation practices a plus
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans or drawings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple bids at once
- Ability to use landscape management network (LMN) software.
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Hardscape Foreman duties:
